Ik krijg regelmatig vragen van mensen over Spaces,

hoe graag ik ook zou willen helpen als je Space niet openbaar staat lukt dat echt niet.

Op de volgende manier kun je kijken of je space openbaar staat,

zodat ik je bijv . kan helpen en dus ook iedereen je space kan bekijken.

1. Log in met je Hotmail/MSN/Live adres en ga naar Opties

2. Eenmaal bij Opties ga je naar Machtingen

3. Zet de machtiging op Iedereen en druk dan nog even op Opslaan en je space staat openbaar!

Note: I have updated this version of the guide because Windows Live Spaces

was updated and upgraded with a lot of cool new features on this date.

One cool new feature is on how to get a Media Player on your space,

it's made much more easier then before.

The Windows Media Player PowerToy makes it possible to play

Music, Video's and Radiostations within your Space.

▶▶▶ Step 1 ◀◀◀

Log in with your Hotmail/MSN/Live passport and go to Edit Mode.

To do this look at the right top on your Space and click on Edit Your Space

After your space has reloaded click on

Customize ---> Other ---> Choose Windows Media Player and click on "Add"

When you're finished hit Close

(check the image below)

And last but not least hit Save and you're done!

Guide for The Powertoy: •★☆★• HTML Sandbox PowerToy •★☆★•

The Custom HTML Sandbox Powertoy makes it possible to

use and show html codes on your Space.

With this powertoy you can add

Clocks, Maps, Banners and Visitor Counters to your space.

These are just a few of what is possible.

If you don't have this Powertoy yet you can follow this guide to get it.

Please note that this PowerToy, like the others, is available in English ONLY for now and is UNSUPPORTED

▶▶▶ Step 1: ◀◀◀

Log in with your Hotmail/MSN/Live passport and go to Edit Mode.

To do this look at the right top on your Space and click on Edit Your Space

In the adress-bar of your browser type the following at the end of the displayed URL:

&powertoy=sandbox

So this is how it's gonna look like but with your space url:

http://yourspace.spaces.live.com/PersonalSpace.aspx?_c02_owner=1&powertoy=sandbox

After typing this press Enter or click the Go butten next to your explorers adress-bar

▶▶▶ Step 3 ◀◀◀

After your space has reloaded click on

Customize ---> Other ---> PowerToy: Custom HTML

When you're finished hit Close

(check the image below)

▶▶▶ Step 4 ◀◀◀

And last but not least hit Save and you're done!

The HTML Sandbox PowerToy should be on your Space right now!

Module name - Name your powertoy (only visible when using "Show Border" enabled
Show border - Show the borders around the powertoy, including the "Module Name"
Save & Revert - Select "Save" to keep your settings and hit "Revert" to go back to a previous state

The Tweak UI Powertoy makes it possible to change the colors of your Space anyway you desire.

If you don't have this Powertoy yet you can follow this guide to get it.

Please note that this PowerToy, like the others, is available in English ONLY for now and is UNSUPPORTED

▶▶▶ Step 1 ◀◀◀

Log in with your Hotmail/MSN/Live passport and go to Edit Mode.

To do this look at the right top on your Space and click on Edit Your Space

(see the example below)

▶▶▶ Step 2 ◀◀◀

In the adress-bar of your browser type the following at the end of the displayed URL:

&powertoy=tweakomatic

So this is how it's gonna look like but with your space url:

After typing this press Enter or click the Go butten next to your explorers adress-bar

After your space has reloaded click on

Customize ---> Other ---> PowerToy: Tweak UI

When you're finished hit Close

And last but not least hit Save and you're done!

The Tweak UI Powertoy should be on your Space right now!

Let's take a look at the possibilities of this powerfull tool:

If you are looking for Color Codes check Here and Here.

Just copy and paste the numbers of your desired color within the Tweak UI Powertoy.

(Check below for more info)

Background Colors: Change the Inner or Outer background colors within your Space
Background Image: Change the positition, repeat or deside to display/not display the background image that comes with your Space Theme.
Font Color: Change the colors of the links and text within your Space.
Module Background: Change the colors of the modules on your space. Transparent mode isn't working anymore since the update to Windows Live Spaces.
Borders: With this option you can change the Style and edges of your Space Modules.
Hit Save when you are finished changing the colors. The results will show immidiatly.
Hit Revert when you are not satisfied with the new colors, it will go back to a previous state.

Default Colors:

#FF0000 - Red
#00FF00 - Green
#0000FF - Blue

Other Colors:
#FFFFFF - White
#000000 - Black
#FFFF00 - Yellow

Uitleg voor de Powertoy: •★☆★• Windows Media Player •★☆★•

Let op! Sinds 9-11-2006 zijn er nieuwe updates toegepast op Live spaces

waardoor het véél makkelijker is om deze Powertoy toe te voegen op je space!

De Windows Media Player PowerToy maakt het mogelijk om

Muziek, Video's en Radiostations af te laten spelen binnenin je space.

Als je de Media Player nog niet in je Space hebt staan kun je de onderstaande stappen volgen.

▶▶▶ Stap 1: ◀◀◀

Log in je Space met je Hotmail/Msn/Live adres en ga naar bewerkingsmodus.

Om dit te doen klik rechtsbovenaan je space op Je Space Bewerken.

▶▶▶ Stap 2: ◀◀◀

Als je Space opnieuw herladen is, ga dan zoals op de onderstaande afbeelding naar

Aanpassen ---> Overig ---> en dan naast Windows Media Player klik je op "Toevoegen"

Klik daarna rechtsonderaan op Sluiten.

Klik daarna nog even op Opslaan en je bent klaar, simpeler kan niet !
